Near the top of the official Awesome Things About This Song list is that the line “so why see the world when you’ve got the beach” is destined to be one of the most mis-interpreted lyrics in a long time, and gloriously (and likely intentionally) so. Who cares if it’s about rich kids wallowing in their luxury life when you’ve got a great line about being at the beach?
