I saw Frente(!) in 1993 (not a typo) and they introduced this song by saying, “When we’re playing stadiums, this is the song we’ll open with.” They were half joking, but I immediately imagined some massive outdoor stadium full of the people looking like the cast of Dazed and Confused at an Aerosmith concert, with their lighters held high, and huge bedsheet signs with “Fuckin’ Frente!” written on them and the lights go down and a huge roar comes up and then…they start with this song? Good thing that “Frente playing stadiums” thing never worked out, because there’s not enough riot police in the world for what happens after that, man.
